The misery of orphans must no longer be ignored; it must be challenged, battled, and defeated. The neglect and abuse in their lives must be replaced with love, care and opportunity for their future.
Please join hands with, Lifeline Welfare Foundation, together we can provide these children with the opportunity to lead a healthy, successful and prosperous life.
Looking ahead towards the day when these children become successful adults in their respective fields. Our Foundation appeals to benefactors for scholarships for its most academically gifted children and give them prosperous future.
LIFELINE PLANS
Lifeline Welfare Foundation always prioritizes welfare of the vulnerable sections of the society, especially children; as they are dependent on others for almost all of their needs. It is the responsibility of the society to look after the children, as they constitute the future of any nation. Lifeline Welfare Foundation focuses on guiding orphaned and destitute children, raising them to transform our nation. Our Children Homes provide full-time residential care facilities for orphan children.
Considering the above, Lifeline Welfare Foundation along with Department of Social Welfare Punjab, is in the process of establishing many institutions for the welfare and rehabilitation of children. These institutions cover the children of all ages i.e. from 0 –18 years of age.
In this context we have launched a scheme of 10 Model Children Homes in seven Districts of Punjab, Pakistan, namely districts of Lahore, Narowal, D.G. Khan, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi & Sargodha. These homes will serve as model homes as they will accommodate neglected children and will provide them basic necessities of life like boarding and lodging, education and health care facilities etc. Our objective is to provide an opportunity and favorable environment to these children to enhance their capacities and capabilities so that they can become useful members of the society. Each children home will have the capacity to accommodate 50 to 80 children. New buildings are under construction in these seven districts.
OBJECTIVES
To rehabilitate neglected or orphaned children.
To safeguard the lives of needy destitute and orphan children through provision of an alcove to these children.
To accommodate needy & orphan children and provide them a foundation of a healthy life
To provide opportunities of growth to these children so that they may live a better life and become
responsible and respectable citizens of Pakistan.
IMPLEMENTATION STRATEGY
Project is envisaged to accommodate both male & female children, separate buildings are being constructed for them. Each children home will work under the supervision of Lifeline Welfare Foundation administrative staff. However, Advisory bodies will be formed as per policy of the Social Welfare Department. A part time doctor and psychologist will also be hired for the regular medical examination of these children. Religious and modern education shall be arranged for these children. Moreover, child care workers will also be part of these homes that will assist children in their day to day living. Each children home is designed to accommodate 50 to 80 children at a time and whilst their stay all the necessities will be provided to them.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION
